Saudi White Cement Company started producing White Cement Clinker In Feb 2001, although maximum production of 700 tons per day and according to the contract yearly production of cement is 200,000 Tons
Basically the plant was established for the capacity as 700 tons daily basis but to meet the day by day enhanced requirement of white cement, now the project is in hand to expand it upto 1000 tons daily production of white clinker/cement, which will start production in June 2012. So, for the needful we signed an agreement with M/s fives FCB France, the world famous and reputed cement plant manufacturer company.
White cement is hydraulic binding material used in many building purposes; White Cement is distinguished by its White Colour due to the very low contents of iron, manganese, chromium or any other colouring elements. It is important to know that ordinary Portland cement and white Portland cement have the same standards. Special cares have to be taken in this industry concerning highly pure raw materials. Also special materials are used in the mills and kiln to prevent contamination and to produce a high product specifications to comply with the international standards.
